CANBERRA MONARO N SCALE GROUP T-TRAK MODULAR LAYOUT

T-Trak Special Interest Group

This layout is built on a series of modules to a Standard formula known as T-Trak that began in Japan and is based around the use of Kato set track.

Modules consist of various sizes and types ranging from single modules through to quad modules (4 X single length). There are also inside and outside corners, end caps and “T” junctions.

In this layout we have combined almost all types to show how they easily fit together and can be combined into almost any shaped layout. Each module has leveling bolts to enable them to be joined across standard tables and allow for irregularities in floor surfaces.

The layout you see was transported in two medium sized SUVs and assembled in about 30 minutes before powering up and running trains.

The Group has built and scenicked about 20 club-owned modules to provide a basis for the display layout. The quad modules at the front are individually owned by their builders.
