Borderline

Borderline is based on a fictional township along the South Australian & Victorian border region.

Modelled in the 80’s era of South Australian Railways and the renaming into Australian National

days, this particular layout sees a colourful array of rolling stock utilised during this transition.

By creating a town on the Border, this layout allows thru running of trains from both states to

feature including the transition of Victorian Railways to the introduction of V/line’s Orange & Gray.

A DCC layout with all locomotives having working sound. This HO scale layout features 2 main running lines, a large 4 road yard for shunting freight along with a grain facility, cement works, Petroleum depot and stock yard and hidden from view is a 10 road fiddle yard to keep a wide variety of trains moving around the layout.
